Forth Corporation Public Company Limited was founded in 1989 under the original name of Genius Communication System Company Limited with initial registered capital of 1.0 million baht to operate business on manufacturing PABX systems under the trademark of FORTH, including the manufacturing and assembling printed circuit boards and electronic devices followed by the capital increase and extend the line of business to ongoing business such as manufacturer and distributor of telecommunication equipment, domestically produced electrical meter, electronic systems, etc. Until 2005, the Company was registered a public limited company under the name of Forth Corporation Public Company Limited
The Amatanon Group and Mr. Phunsak Siriphongpreeda started the foundation of the Electronic Source Co.,Ltd. (ES), which is the initial business of the Company to sell electronic components.
The Amatanon Group established Genius Communication System Company Limited to operate business on manufacturing and sale telephone exchange system under the trademark FORTH. Its offices and manufacturing sites located at 280,282,284, Phaholyothin road, Samsennai, Phayathai, Bangkok.
Investment Company purchased the land and build factories to expand production facilities to support the growth of business in printed circuit board production and assembling as well as electronic device.
The JV GEM increased its registered capital to 40 million Baht with the Company’s purchase of 675,000 shares at par value of 10 Baht representing the total value of 6.75 million Baht with stake of the Company remains unchanged at 45 percent.
On April 8, 2008 the subsidiary of GTS increased registered capital from 10 million Baht to 50 million baht and the Company used the right to expand such capital in order to maintain stake intact.
On June 20,2008 the Extraordinary Shareholder Meeting resolved to reduce the share capital from 515 million baht to 480 million baht by reducing the number of registered shares not yet released to sell of 35 million shares at par value of 1 Baht and approved the change in the par value of 1 Baht per share to 0.5 Baht per share. As a result, it caused the registered and paid-up shares rise from 480 million shares to 960 million shares.
On October 7, 2008, the Company, together with Mrs. Sutin Niyomsilp established the Thai Industry Water Co.,Ltd. (“TIW”) with registered capital of 1 million baht. The Company started up by holding shares in the proportion of 40 % to operate business on the construction of raw water pipeline system from natural water sources and feed raw water to the partners for the development of water resources and organized the major raw water pipeline system for the industrial estate, industrial plants, including the provincial Waterworks Authority. Later in December, the Company purchased additional shares from existing shareholders of 3, 000 shares, making the company have the proportion of shareholding of 70%of the registered capital.
On November 13, 2008 the Company, together with Mr. Siwapan Rattanawirojwong and Mr.Anupan Pakdeesupparid founded the Forth Smart Service Company Limited (“FSS”) with registered capital of 1 million with shareholding in the proportion of 51% of the registered capital in the business of automatic mobile top up service provider as the machine manufacturer and the mobile servicing dealers in management and revenues collection. The business still had high potential for expansion to other services such as prepaid service via BTS card etc. The Company had terminate the joint venture with the Genius Traffic and Inter call Service after the delivering the improvement and traffic light installing in the municipal district of Trang Province finished.
On April 2009 the subsidiary FSS increased its registered capital from 1 million Baht to 5 million Baht by issuing new common shares of 40,000 shares with the par valueof 100 Baht to be used as working capital within the company. As a result of purchasing more shares, the company could maintain same proportion on share holding.
On August 2009 the subsidiary TIW increased its registered capital from 1 million Baht to 77 million Baht by issuing new common shares of 760,000 shares with the par value of 100 Baht to be used in the construction project of TIW. As a result of purchasing more shares, the company could maintain same proportion on share holding.
September 2009, the subsidiary company TIW signed a sale contract to provide raw water to the Management and Development of Eastern Water Resources Public Company Limited, the duration of the contract was 10 years.
In October 2009, the Company received the first prize in the contest on the economic performance of the National Innovation Award 2009 from the National Innovation Agency, Ministry of Science and Technology.
In 2009 the Company had invested in new equipment to support the production orders of major customer, Western Digital with estimate investment value of 60 million baht.
The company received the Best Supplier from Western Digital (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.
In March the Board of Directors had a resolution to sell investment capital in the common shares of the Thai Water Industry Co.,Ltd. Of 539,000 shares, a proportion of 70 percent of the registered capital, to the Siam Water Resource Company Limited and the Company had transferred shares as well as was paid 55 million Baht for the shares (net of related expenses) which caused the Thai Water Industry Co.,Ltd. As a result, the Thai Industrial Water Company Limited ceased to be a subsidiary of the Company since April 30, 2010.
In September 2010, the Company paid interim dividend for the operational result of the first 6 months in 2010 to shareholders at the par value of 0.12 Baht of totaling 115.2 Baht.
The Company had expanded the investment to the Philippines by establishing the Mindmap Commtech Inc. with the registered capital of 150 million Peso (150,000 common shares at the par value of 1,000 Peso) and operated the core business in online top up service as well as automatic mobile phone top up of which the Company held shares at the proportion of 40% of the registered capital.
FORTH won the first prize in the individual category of the Princess IT Rattana Ratchasuda 5th Annual award 2010 by the Foundation for Research in Information Technology (FRIT) on the products of telephone PABX and high speed internet or Multi-Service Access Network (MSAN).
The company has received outstanding awards on the most Thai Telecom Innovation of 2010 from the Telecommunications Industry Research and Development Institute (TRIDI). The award winning product is FORTH X-TRANS WDM Access Switch, the Access Switch product for the broadband network provider to connect from high speed Internet access (MSAN) into Core Network with High Bandwidth and the other 2 outstanding products awarded from the best embedded systems project of Thailand under the category of Living and Life Style: the Nurse Call System, which is an internal communication system within the medical care units or hospitals and the Company was also awarded in the Innovation category of Productivity. & Tools from Forth board development for Android Tablet, which was designed for use in the manufacture of experimental Board for the development of android operation system.
In November, 2010 Forth Smart Service Public Co.,Ltd. expanded its registered capital from 5 million Baht (50,000 shares at the par value of 100 Baht) to 15 million Baht (150,000 shares at the par value of 100 Baht) by issuing new common shares of 100,000 with the par value of 100 Baht.
In May, 2011 Forth had invested to establish a new subsidiary company, Forth Consulting Company Limited to operate business in giving consults on information management and computer programming system with the registered capital of 10 million Baht. The Company held shares in this subsidiary company of 70% of the capital.

In February 2011 Forth Tracking System Company Limited had expanded its investment capital from 10 million Baht (100,000 common shares at the par value of 100 Baht) to 20 million Baht (200,000 common shares at the par value of 100 Baht) by issuing new common shares of 100,000 shares with par value per share of 100 Baht.
The company had expanded its investment to Vietnam by the establishment of FPT Payment Technology Joint Stock Company with a capital of 42,000 million VND. (Common stock of 4,200,000 shares at the par value per share of 10,000 Dong) and was principally engaged in providing online prepaid and automatic mobile recharge. The Company held shares in such companies of 30% of the cost of investments on this company which is equivalent to 18.5 million baht.
The Company purchased common shares of Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited (FSS) of the total number of 15, 000 shares at the price of 100 Baht presenting the value of 1.50 million Baht from one of the shareholders of the FSS. This caused the shareholding in the Company increase from 51% to 61%. In addition, the company had purchased additional shares of the subsidiary, in proportion to shareholding of the Company of 1, 453, 500 shares, and shareholders disclaimed to purchase of 285, 000 shares. Total shares increased was 1, 738, 500 shares at the price of 100 Baht, equivalent to 173.85 million baht and total investment was175.35 million baht.
Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited had expanded its investment from 15 million Baht (150,000 common shares at the par value of 100 Baht) to 300 million Baht (3,000,000 common shares at the par value of 100 Baht per share) by issuing new common shares of 2,850,000 shares with par value per share of 100 Baht.
The company approved a plan to have Forth Smart Service Company Limited (FSMART) listed on the Market for Alternative Investment (Spin-off) and approved in principle the capital structure of the FSMART due to the Spin-off Plan.
The Company paid for the shares in Mindmap Commtech Inc, a joint shareholding of which the Company holds 40% of the share, representing a total of 105 million baht to be used as working capital of Mindmap Commtech Inc.
Mr. Pongchai Amatanon which is a major shareholder of FORTH sold 100 million shares, representing 10.4 % of the share capital of the company to 2 investors namely Mr. Wichai Thongtang and Miss Kanoknuch Lekwichit. However, such sale of shareholder had no impact on the management structure and policy on business operation of the Company in any way.
The company invested for establishment of 2 new subsidiary companies: Forth Alliance and Forth Lighting Company Limited
The Company had terminated the production of electronic circuits for hard disk drive of Western Digital (Thailand) co.,Ltd. which was a major customer of the Company since the end of July, 2013 and the company moved its headquarters from the previous one of No. 226/12, 13, 16, Phaholyothin road, samsennai, Phayathai, Bangkok to No. 1053/1 Phaholyothin road, Samsennai, Phayathai, Bangkok.
Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited had changed the par value of the common shares of the Company from 100 Baht per share of 3 million shares to 0.5 Baht per share of 600 million shares. The subsidiary company had increased the registered capital from 300 million baht (600 million common shares at par value of 0.5 Baht) to 400 million baht. (common shares of 800 million shares with par value per share of 0.5 Baht) by issuing new common shares of 200 million shares with par value of 0.5 Baht to support the share offering to the existing shareholders of the Company and the general public. Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited offered to sell common shares of 200 million shares of IPO at par value of 0.5 Baht at the price of 2.5 Baht to shareholders of the Company and general public and was registered as securities listed on the Stock Exchange of MAI and began trading on MAI market since October 14, 2014 under the symbol of FSMART
Genius Traffic Company Limited increased registered capital from 50 million baht. (500,000 common shares with a par value of Baht 100 per share) to 200 million baht (2,000,000 common shares with a par value of Baht 100 each) by issuing new 1,500,000 common shares with par value of 100 baht.
Forth Lighting Company Limited increased registered capital from 1 million baht.(10,000 common shares with a par value of Baht 100 per share) to 10 million Baht (100,000 common shares with a par value of 100 Baht each) by issuing new 90,000 common shares with par value of 100 Baht.
Forth Alliance Company Limited registered its dissolution with the Ministry of Commerce on December 11, 2014.
The Company had purchased the common shares of Genius Traffic Company Limited its subsidiary company, of 1,500,000 shares at a price based on the par value of 100 Baht per share, representing a total investment value of 150 million Baht to maintain stake intact.
The Company purchased the common shares of Forth Lighting Company Limited its subsidiary company, of 90,000 shares at a price based on the par value of 100 Baht per share, representing a total investment value of 9 million Baht to maintain stake intact.
The Company purchased the common shares of Forth Tracking Company Limited its associated company, of 34,000 shares at a price based on the par value of 100 Baht per share, representing a total investment value of 3.4 million Baht to maintain stake intact.
Shareholding of the Company in Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Company fell from 61% to 46% since the subsidiary offered the sale on common shares of 200 million shares of IPO at par value of 0.5 Baht per share at the price of 2.5 Baht per share to the existing shareholders of the Company and the general public.
The Company received 1,599,998 common shares of Forth Meter Company Limited, its associated company without shareholder value transferred from 3 shareholders who wish to transfer all their shares to the Company. Thus the company increased its stake from 45 percent to 85 percent.
The Company received 30,000 common shares of Forth Consulting Company Limited, its subsidiary without shareholder value transferred from 3 shareholders who wish to transfer all their shares to the Company. Thus the company increased its stake from 70% percent to 100% percent.
The company approved the termination of the Forth Alliance Company Limited, a subsidiary of FORTH because the company had not yet started operation and there are deficits exceed the registered capital.
The company purchased the land together with buildings located on Phaholyothin road, Samsennai, Phayathai, Bangkok of total 1396 square meter representing the value of 316 million from individuals not related with the Company to support the expansion of the company.
Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited and the Singha Corporation Group have invested in joint ventures and established Forth Vending Company Limited to The company, Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited and Group of Singha Corporation invested in joint ventures, established Forth Vending Company Limited to operate a vending machines business with a registered capital of 80 million baht (with the ordinary shares of 8 Million shares at par value of 10 Baht). The company and Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited holds shares in the company of 45 percent and 10 percent, respectively.
